The short version

Drift Vistas runs on privacy-first analytics. We don't set tracking cookies on our domain, we don't store your IP address, and we don't run any third-party advertising or remarketing. We never sell or share email addresses.

What we collect

Anonymous analytics

We use **Cloudflare Web Analytics** and **GoatCounter** to count page views and understand which content is read. Both are cookieless and privacy-respecting. They record:

• The page you visited
• The country you visited from (derived from IP, IP not stored)
• The browser and operating system
• The referring site, if any

They do not record: your IP address (it is processed for country detection and then discarded), your name, your email, or any identifier we could use to recognise you across visits.

Your email — only when you give it

If you submit your email via our newsletter or guide signup forms, that email is stored only for the purpose of sending you what you signed up for. We use it nowhere else. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by emailing [email protected]. We never sell or share email lists.

Third parties at the moment of click

When you click an outbound link (to Booking.com, DiscoverCars, GetYourGuide, etc.), that destination site sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We have no control over the data that company collects after you leave our site.

Cookies

We do not set any cookies from the driftvistas.com domain. The only cookies that may appear during your visit are set by our outbound partner sites once you click through.

Your rights (GDPR, CCPA, and otherwise)

Whatever jurisdiction you're in, you have the right to:

• Know what we have on you — email us and we'll tell you (it's likely just your email address, if you've subscribed)
• Delete it — we'll remove your email from our list within seven days of request
• Opt out — unsubscribe links work; analytics opt-out is automatic if you have Do Not Track or use a privacy browser

Children

Drift Vistas is published for adults planning family travel. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If a child has submitted their email by accident, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be noted on the homepage for two weeks before taking effect.
