Affiliate disclosure

Drift Vistas participates in affiliate programs with **Booking.com**, **DiscoverCars**, **GetYourGuide**, **Skyscanner**, **SafetyWing**, **Hostelworld**, **Amazon Associates**, and others. When you click an outbound link to one of those services and complete a booking or purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.

Several principles govern how we use these links:

  • The recommendation comes first, the link is plumbing. We only link to services we would (and do) book ourselves. We do not accept paid placements that are not clearly labelled. No company has paid for inclusion in our itineraries.
  • Clear labelling. Pages with affiliate links display an affiliate disclosure near the relevant section. Outbound affiliate links open in a new tab and disclose their nature.
  • You always pay the standard price. Affiliate commissions are paid by the partner, not by you. Booking via our link costs the same as booking direct.
  • Affiliate revenue keeps the free guides free. The Montenegro, Europe Road Trip, and Family Budget free PDFs are the largest line items on this site. They exist because affiliate income covers our research and hosting.

Price and information accuracy

Every price, opening time, route, and recommendation on this site was checked against the source in the month indicated at the top of each page. **Travel prices shift with season, currency, demand, and global events.**

Before you book, verify the current price and conditions on the booking site itself. If you spot something out of date, email [email protected] — we update content quarterly and fix specific errors faster.

Itineraries, accommodation suggestions, and activity recommendations reflect our editorial judgment at the time of writing. They are not professional travel agency advice. Conditions on the ground change. We do not warrant that any recommendation will suit your specific party, budget, or circumstances.

Drift Vistas covers destinations we consider safe for the average family traveller at the time of publication. Conditions can change rapidly. **Always consult your government's official travel advisory before booking and before departure:**

Drift Vistas is an editorial publication, not a travel agent or tour operator. We do not book, sell, or refund travel services. When you book through an affiliate link, your contract is with that company (Booking.com, the hotel, the rental company, etc.), not with us.

We are not responsible for cancellations, service failures, refund disputes, or other booking outcomes. For travel disruption protection, we recommend travel insurance — we cover this on the destination pages.

Editorial independence

No tourism board, hotel, airline, or tour operator has paid for inclusion or favourable coverage in any guide on this site. We accept advertising and affiliate commissions, both clearly labelled. We do not accept comped accommodation, comped tours, or press junkets that come with editorial expectations.

Our brand voice rules — no "stunning," no "hidden gem," no "bucket list" — exist precisely to keep us out of the sponsored-travel echo chamber. Specific, honest, doable. That's the whole product.
